Southam United are finally set to return to playing Saturday football next season under new manager and former player Kyle King after two seasons away. The previous men's team folded half-way through the 2024/25 season after financial struggles saw them locked out of their stadium with no electricity for months. The tides have turned as things are back on the up now and King is looking forward to the challenge. He said: "It's a massive honour to be given the opportunity to manage Southam United. "The club means a lot to me, as well as the local community, so I am really proud to lead the first team. "There is a real buzz around the club at the moment and I'm excited to help build something positive both on and off the pitch."
