Match Report: Coventry City 3-2 WBA

Victor Torp was the hero for Coventry as he helped guide his side come back from a 2-0 deficit to beat West Brom 3-2 in a well-fought battle. The Danish midfielder scored the decisive goal in the Midlands derby which saw the Sky Blues extend their lead to seven points at the top of the Championship. It was the visitors who opened the scoring after nine minutes when Michael Johnston stole the ball from Jay Dasilva deep in his own half and found Aune Heggebo who slotted it home. The hosts had a chance to equalise through Torp after Ellis Simms held the ball well before setting up the 26-year-old who's strike smashed off the crossbar. Following Coventry City's electric start to the 2025/26 Sky Bet Championship season, they found themselves 10 points clear of 2nd place Middlesbrough heading into December.
